Breast Cancer Research Foundation – Research yields that a combination therapy of immunotherapy plus a PARP inhibitor with chemotherapy in patients with HER2-negative breast cancer has superior results. Research in all breast cancer groups tested showed that there is a 37 percent pathological complete response (pCR) with the combination therapy, meaning no presence on invasive tumor in the breast lymph nodes at time of surgery. This compares favorably with a 20 percent pathological (pCR) response when using chemotherapy alone.

In 1995, founded by her husband, Gene Wilder and others, Gilda’s House was opened in New York City for cancer patients and their families. Gilda’s House offers health fairs, school and corporate presentations and individual support to the cancer community.
